NASW Rhode Island Chapter LEAD 2023 Coming in March 2023 Stay Tuned

The Legislative Education and Advocacy Day (LEAD) is an annual conference hosted by the NASW Rhode Island Chapter, where many students from all three Schools of Social Work in Rhode Island and other professionals gather in the state house, to advocate for legislation that is relevant to the social work profession. Students and other attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the importance of advocacy and all of its components. This year, the LEAD event will be hosted virtually, with keynote speaker Jaye Watts and panel discussion moderator Jane Hayward.

Join us at our 17th Annual Legislative Education Advocacy Day Event: Social Workers and the Social Determinants, on Tuesday, March 22, 12:00pm - 3:00pm.  Online registrations are now open! Click here to register today
